Why do we often love trains?

I love trains. Lionel trains and real trains, because they go wherever the tracks lead them.

It's fun to put the tracks and train together and soothing to watch the train go round in loops and under tunnels and out the other side and over bridges and round in loops again over and over.

I have no clue. I'm not at all interested about trains in any way, shape or form.
