Well... in the interest of keeping it going... If the galaxies were to collide then life in both galaxies would cease because the immense heat would kill all life forms. So yes.. the light bulb would become quite unnecessary! However, you do have to wonder what effect the collision would have on the supermassive black holes in the centers of the galaxies. Would it create a space-time distortion that could possibly lead to a wormhole into an alternate universe where Earth still existed and aspies still needed light bulbs?
Hey, do we actually really know if they are not wormholes
already?
Because, what happens to the rest of the supernova star, that colapses as a black hole?
I do not think anything like matter survives the enormous pressure,
where even the neutrons are broken.
Thus, if there is really no matter, what keeps the black hole in the shape?
I bet many black holes are actually wormholes.
Imagine all the beings coming back and forth through the holes.
Like demons, say.
Or angels.
No, they do not really need wormholes, but some others do, like those highly evolved aspies in other universes.
That are looking for the best quality

Interesting theory... I like it! Also the odd thing about the supermassive black holes at the centers of galaxies is that they are dormant and do not feed. Thus, you have to wonder if the nature of their internal gravity may be different. it could very well be that they are indeed portals through space-time!
