I was delayed in a few areas. Among them being:

* My inability to properly tie my shoelaces until I was eight.
* Being unable to tell the time before the age of seven.
* Making friends.
* Being able to maintain friendships.
* Grasping nonverbal communication.
* Skills related to having a theory of mind.
* Various daily living skills like cooking and cleaning.
* Driving - Still can't

I can see how some of these would resonate with having Asperger's syndrome.

Running. I was always so rigid & uncoordinated... Forrest Gump style. I wasn't able to run properly until I was ~15 years old, and even then I was still a little stiff and awkward, but not nearly as bad as I was before that. Now I can run decently well. :)

Learning to tell time
Theory of mind and putting myself in other peoples shoes
Learning to borrow and carry in math (I blame that on special education because they didn't teach me any new maths so I learned that later than my peers)
Talking
Holding scissors the right way
Holding a pencil right
Swimming
Blowing bubbles using bubble gum
Reading and reading chapter books
Potty training perhaps though today it would be considered normal but back then it was late
Learning to use the bathroom (I had accidents until I was five but then again that is considered normal now)

And of course balance. I had issues with that growing up so I was clumsy so I a sure I learned things late that require motor skills and coordination.

Chewing with my mouth closed
Learning to say thank you (still have troubles with that)
Carrying on conversations and having normal ones
Social skills
Telling left and right

I learned to tie my shoes at age six, I am not sure if that is late, same as riding a bike but it took me a couple years to get good at shoe tying
Roller skating and rollerblading, still not good at it, same as for ice skating

Emotions
Fractions (took me until sixth grade to grasp it and I think I forgot how to do the problems since I didn't do them long)
Algebra (I still don't know how to do it and couldn't even learn it)
I first washed my hair at age nine and didn't start doing it until I was ten (not sure if that is late)
Taking showers on my own without being told I am dirty and need a bath (I was ten, is that late?)
Brushing my teeth
Getting myself out of bed and ready for school

Counting money and understanding the concepts of it (I also blame special ed for this since they didn't teach me this so my mom had to teach me since I couldn't learn it in my normal class either so she started with the basic concepts like what each bill is worth and each coin)
Vocabulary (my verbal IQ was always low and it doesn't surprise me since I didn't know lot of words then like other kids at my age would)

Eye contact
Personal space
Flexibility with playing

Clocks were hard for me. Though, at this point I can't remember if it was only out of laziness or not. Also, math. Other than that....relating to people without going on some end of the world or conspiracy theory rant. It always ends up there.

It took me a really long time to learn how to tie my shoes. I didn't learn until my mom showed me one night when I was nine years old.

I was never able to stand on my hands, however much I practised.

The biggest things I had trouble with as a child were: learning to read, hold my pencil/crayon properly,and of course tying my shoes. The things I am currently struggling with (I'm 22) in adult life are: keeping a job, finding a girlfriend, and gaining financial independence.

Speaking - 5 ?

I am told I picked up things like time etc pretty much on my own etc and fairly quickly. I remember teaching myself to swim. Also, I was always independent and did not like others interceding too much.

Gym stuff always klutzy with.

I never crawled. I still suck at telling left from right and telling time. I can't ride a bike and I am finding it really hard to learn to drive. But on the other hand I started talking at 6 months and taught myself to read at 3, so overall I'm about average I guess.
