Do you have realistic dreams ?
I sometimes see weird objects in my dreams as well. Too bad they have no practical use in real life. I do notice that a lot of the clothing I see in my dreams become fashionable in a few months.
That's very interesting!
I have realistic dreams and some of them are absolutely horrifying. Last night I dreamt that I was babysitting four kids at a sort of party like event. Two of them went outside when I turned away for a moment. I spent a long time searching for them and no one would help me look. When I found them they were both laying on the ground side by side dead next to this huge taxidermy bear.
Some of m dreams are so horrific that they scare me about doing things in real life. Like right now, I don't want to have to babysit anybody's kids.
I also sometimes have a dream that I have to pee and can't get my underwear off.
Sometimes I dream of plane crashes and gang warfare too and find myself in the middle of shootouts.
But not all my dreams are like that. Sometimes I have beautiful dreams. One really fun one was I dreamt that my brother was cooking us an awesome meal once. It was some kind of fish sandwich.

ive gotten confused whether a memory is from reality or a dream, because i generally remember them with equal vividness.
my dreams are pretty diverse and can range anywhere from mundane to completely surreal. i also realize im dreaming sometimes.
on the topic of WILD, i love those! theyre super fascinating and the transition from wakefulness to dream can be just as much of an experience as the dream itself. just dont try it if you dont think you could handle any illusion your mind might throw at you. i tend to get a bizarre sensation of having my body wrung and skin turned inside out.
my reality check method is by pinching my nose and trying to breathe in. the trick is that your dream breathing matches your breathing in real life, so if you're in a dream, holding your nose wont have an impact on your breathing. the hand checking method ive tried, but its not always a pretty sight.
I had a strange dream last night, where I was waiting in a queue to go to the toilet. There was a film set using the toilet for one of their scenes, and during the entire dream I was waiting and getting more irritated. Even when I finally got into the toilet, I still had to wait. lol
But yeah my dreams are hyper-real, and I don't know I'm dreaming. So in some of my more anxious/horrible dreams, when I wake up, I'm often relieved it didn't actually happen.
And some of my dreams are surreal, while others are realistic. But even the realistic ones have some strange/surreal thing going on, but I just accept it.
My dreams are usually what can be called "quasi-realistic." There is a realistic progression to them, and they seem real at the time-- but the events themselves, when put together upon my awakening, frequently are absurd. I am relieved that they are absurd, since they are frequently negative (e.g., I blew a lot of money, I caused a serious accident, I'm about to be pounced upon by a gang of punks). I would like to be able to write about them--but I forget most of them a few minutes after awakening.
