Yew know, Fred Flintstone and all that ...

Wow, that is some muscle those lads...*coughs*...cavemen must have had some muscle. Funny  I don't know, just I read your post and instantly, words like 'spiffing' and 'jolly good show' came to mind, and straw boaters and striped jackets... most odd. I must have made some association between a word or two in your post and a specific British era.

I was generally a good kid, though I did have tantrums when I first went to school, probably because it was so stressful. I also bunked off secondary school, because I just couldn't organise my homework, and was too scared of the teachers to admit I hadn't / couldn't do it.

I was quite secretive when I was "naughty", like when I carved something rude into the soft wood over the fireplace and signed my sister's name. I did it with such fine lines though that it didn't show - that is until 10 years later when the wood was varnished and EVERY little blemish appeared

You don't seem like the type that would get arrested.

Both times they were for the kind of crimes you would expect an aspie criminal to commit. But since they made the newspapers both times I want be mentioning what they were.

Why Not?

My teachers thought I was very naughty. Truth is, I was an angel. (Nah, really, I never got why other children misbehaved, it didn't make any sense to me until much later.)

I only ever got into trouble for Aspie-ish things.

Nah... I was a perfect angel.
I had an evil twin who did all the bad stuff.

I would shoot spitwads everywhere, I used pens that were easy to take apart.

I filled all the bathroom sinks with paper towels and lit them on fire. This was before the current fire alarm systems. We used to vandalize houses just before the people moved in and write swear words in French on the walls. I was sometimes made to sit in the closet at school. It was full of books. Good reason to get in trouble. And the list goes on. I was always in trouble..

You remind me of a Libra friend of mine. Odd. Just the sense of humour I suppose.

I was a nerd, studied hard and didn't cause trouble. However, I was very remote and could come across as mean or grouchy, when the truth was, I was very focused.

I think I was too timid to be very naughty. I remember a story about an uncle who found drill holes in the rock face of a raod cutting. He thought it would be fun (c1950) to fill them with blasting powder (a type of black powder - where is Litigious?) and shear off the rock wall.

It didn't work, but it did spray houses accross the road with gravel, breaking all their windows. He is my favorite uncle and I still look up to him.

I did have a part in derailing a train once, but it was not on purpose. we were only trying to see how many rocks the wheels could crush. Sort of a science experiment.

I think a lot of people put rocks and stuff on the tracks to see what would happen when the wheels went over them. I never managed to derail one though, that might have been fun for my childish mind.
