I prefer to wash my dog, a dachsund named Ruby, in my kitchen sink. Makes it a lot easier and I even have a scrub brush that is just for her.

It's a cultural thing.

I live in an area with a high concentration of Muslim, Arabs (various religions) and Hindus.

Dogs are a slight hair above a barn yard animal to them.

I was at a outdoor party, and we brought out small dog (under 10 lbs). We asked and the host said okay.

I fed the dog off my plate, after I was done eating. The host threw a very expensive straight plate into the trash. I might as well crapped on it. His culture considers dogs dirty animals, and I guess a dishwasher isn't strong enough to get all the dog cooties off.

I went out an bough a replacement plate off of EBay. The dish was very $$$$.

Anyway, I learned not everyone is thrilled with Fido in the house, let alone on the furniture or sharing silverware. Lol..

And I can't imagine piping up I shower with my dog to my next door neighbor.

Nothing wrong with it though.

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Bleach ain't good enough either? LOL

I let my kitties lick off my plate when I'm done eating too. There's usually a bit of butter left on it - why let that butter go to waste :D
