I think you are wrong about being viewed as one of the least likeable people here. I think you are very well liked.

Why would you say you are one of the least liked people?

It's self-explanatory.

I don't sense that at all.

I think people think you're all right.

See, I would like to PM AnonymousAnonymous and tell him I like him and think a lot of other people do, too. I don't PM him because I am afraid I will come off as creepy. It is similar to what Britte talked about.

I give three s**ts, but the third one is usually just gas and some liquid.

Holy s**t! You really think that?

No s**t! I haven't had good luck with the PM system either. I'm not surprised though, autistics aren't good with people skills and responding to a PM is as personal as it gets here.

There are people around here who I notice and miss if they're gone, like Skibum, KoR, Vickie, Olympiadis, Kraftie and others. There are also those who I try to stay away from, or whose responses I can predict based on the content of the thread they're replying to; they're like the family members you wish you didn't have to spend time with, if you know what I mean. Despite never having met anyone here directly, I do feel like I'm friends with some of them; I've PMed several members before, and we've gotten to know each other personally. I feel like part of a real community, rather than just a faceless username behind a screen, and it matters to me what happens to the people who hang out here.

I don't remember any of those. And, if they disappear before you can flush them, don't they also disappear before you can give them away?

I do like AnonymousAnonymous, too. I also still feel bad that he probably removed his avatar on account of me. I was just kidding when I said that his ape looked scary.

And yes, there are WP members I try to avoid because they continually spew negativity and self-righteousness as if they have the perfect life and live in a fascinating castle in Norway or something.

I think a lot about how to address questions and problems other people have. This one guy, I have been thinking up a response since the end of June. I understand his problem but I just can't settle on the best words to use. I think about him and many others here daily. I don't know what to say. I keep checking in on this depressed guy. I don't talk but I just read his posts to see how he is coping. There is a girl who makes me laugh. I will not talk directly but I like to follow her posts. Yes, I actually really care about the people here.

^^I get that completely. There are a few people on here who I keep a check on as well but I never really know how to help them.^^

As people have said before I'd feel creepy saying it to them and be scared of it coming across as "oh hey I stalk your profile". But I do think things to myself about people here. The more posts I've seen by them, the more likely it'll be anything but indifference. And there are far more people that I like than dislike, and the dislike is never usually strong. I don't know if liking counts as caring though.

I haven't connected with anyone on the forum, so not really, and vaguely at best.

if the majority of people on here can handle my whining on my other topic then i'd say yeah they do.
who knows maybe some of them have a hidden desire to slap some sense into me.

Good point. I've also dabbled in invisible caring like that. I guess I don't like to directly make claims of caring, as it's so often used dishonestly in the real world, and often boils down to nothing. I think I see true caring as more about what people do, more than what they say.
