This is absolutely horrifying! 8O I know that NT children can be uncaring jerkbags to ASD children (*horrible flashbacks*) but lighting someone on fire! I'm sorry but those kids need a one-way ticket to Juvie Hall. There is absolutely no excuse for this kind of behavior.

Can someone find and post updates on the boy's condition since 3 days ago? None are coming up on Google. Last news 3 days ago that he was on life support, fighting pneumonia and infection. Then nothing. It seems very newsworthy to me.

I was about to reply and say that no news may not be good news.. but rather than be pessimistic I decided to goolge for myself first.

The first several hits are all 3-4 days old, then I saw a hit with an update only 3 hours old. It's on the crowdfunding page setup for donations. So, I clicked, scrolled, and read this:

I just got home from visiting Kayden and his parents at the hospital. He is fighting so hard! He keeps trying to wake himself up but right now it's important for him to stay sedated. While I was there he sat straight up (while being sedated with medication) and was crying out. His mama comforted him while the nurses gave him some more meds to get him back to sleep. Tomorrow morning they will do skin grafts on his arm, chest and possibly his neck and said hopefully tomorrow evening they can take him off of the ventilator. He still needs lots and lots of prayers. Thank you so much for all of your love! I will hopefully have an update for you tomorrow.

Here's the donation page where you will find the most up to date updates:

They've reached ~$250,000.00 of their $10,000 fundraising goal. I made a small donation. It's nice to know that his family won't have to worry about BS like paying the bills while he recovers.

In my experience, bullies are generally entrenched in the system, or were morally-compromised by the idea that they had some protection or legal advantage, without fail.
