Even so, I enjoy travelling.

Well, there is a certain pride in doing these things, and I live on the memories for years. Apart from these duty trips to visit family, I've been on a few trips that were amazing over the years, and I've never regretted going, even the trips I took while being in pain a lot - living like a hermit does not make me feel better.

Nice to see you, Kraftie, long time no see!

Nice to see you, too.

How is everything?

Reeling a bit. Finally went for assessment the last couple of days. The result is...inconclusive. I certainly don't have ADHD, but the jury is out on autism. I have to go again after the guy reads up on autism in women.

This will be interesting.

If I was invited to a wake, I'd go. I'd stay for the minimum of time that I'm supposed to be there and as soon as people start leaving, I'd leave myself. That way, I can have that extra time to recover from that type of a social event.

Well, that's what I did but by then it was too late.

You see, that's what self knowledge does for you. I used to just have an insane sense of duty. I've really damaged myself trying to live up to everyone's expectations. I didn't think I was that sort of person - I thought I was really selfish and uninfluenced by others, but that is not really the case.
