I don't know what is wrong with me!
I'd really recommend getting with a health professional to discuss your concerns if you can.
Is that not a possibility now for some reason?
Oh, I see.
Actually I think many of the people on this site do have deep understanding. For many of us here, acquiring a deep understanding of autism has been a special interest. Many of us probably know much more about it than the average (non-specialist) health professional.
However, even a professional autism specialist can't do online diagnoses. Autism diagnosis can be done only in person, by a clinical psychologist specializing in autism.

I stand by my statement and position.
Spede should find an expert local to her to get deeper into her concerns.

I don't disagree with that part of your "statement and position." Please re-read what I wrote.

I read it quite enough. I have contact with people who are experts in real life, with credentials and who dedicate their lives to this condition. I have yet to see anyone here with that type of knowledge and a great deal larger number of people who proclaim expert knowledge who fail to display it. In my opinion it's a dangerous place for people who are suffering and might overly trust the opinions of self-proclaimed experts.
Speaking only for myself, when I first sought help at age 20 the Dr I met with told me that my symptoms sounded an awful lot like I had OCD although I refused to see a specialist (big mistake). I never realized until recently that you could actually have both but apparently it's quite common. I am going for a ASD assessment soon and it will be interesting if OCD gets mentioned.
Fragile X is a genetic disorder. There is a straightforward test for it, called the DNA test.
Most people with Fragile X have some sort of intellectual or learning disability. Especially if they are male.
There is a characteristic physical appearance with it. Not all have those characteristics, though.

What kind of OCD symptoms do you have?
Because you don't seem to have an intellectual disability or learning disability, based on your writing. Most people with Fragile-X have some sort of intellectual or learning disability.
There is also a characteristic physical appearance within Fragile-X Syndrome---many people with this disorder have very long and narrow faces and large ears.
I would Google "Fragile X Appearance," and you will see what I mean.
Then again, females usually have less severe symptoms than males within Fragile-X. I still don't get the impression you have it, though. About 2/3s, to 1/2, have no intellectual disability at all.
There is a test, called the "DNA test," which is said to be more than 99% accurate in diagnosing Fragile-X.

* I cannot function at all if I find my shoelaces are not the exact same length.
* I have to use my work uniforms in a certain order or I am a complete wreck.
* I used to check to see if I locked the door or turn the stove off 3+ times.
* Until recently, my books and video games have to be arranged alphabetically and by type.
* My bed has to be a certain way. I thought I could break this once but I literally went three days without sleeping and had to go the ER before I did something really stupid.
Looking back at treatments and exercises given to me, my most recent therapist must have known I had it. The only question is why she never brought it up.
