Wow! How long is your beard?[/quote]
The beard wasn't ridiculously long, but the associated moustache kept breaking free of its wax and getting in my mouth. And the hair kept flopping over my eyes and blinding me.

For me, I feel better about myself if I shower every morning, and put on regular clothes, although I'm not wearing my work uniform at the moment. I managed to get a haircut shortly before things shut down, and I'm one of those who goes longer than 6 weeks between haircuts, so I'm good there. As for makeup, the only thing I really play with now is eye shadow, liner, and mascara because of the mask thing, but I also wear lipsticks I might not wear for work because I can. Even if masks weren't required in my county and city for shopping and getting takeout, I would still wear one to protect others in case I were asymptomatic and didn't know it. I only have a few strands of gray hair that most people never notice, so there's no reason to get those covered.

I think if anything, this pandemic shows how vain and selfish many people are if they're complaining about not getting their hair or nails done. Well, there is one place that does hair and nails at this point, the local funeral home and most probably don't want that kind of appointment at this time.

For me quarantine life means LESS caring about looks for sure. Now that I don't have to work at the university by day it's no bras for me! No worrying about my hair, and only comfy sweatpants or shorts! My daily exercise routine remains unaltered though, since I never did it for appearances in the first place. I don't change clothes to go to the store. I don't care. Some people dress up to feel good. I dress down to feel good!

My weight was already within a healthy range, so I don't see much movement there. However, I do notice a deceive drop in my blood pressure since I've been locked away. I don't know if it's related to stress or if it's all the home cooking I've been doing.
Cheers about the no bra and comfy hair and sweats and shorts thing!! ! I am right with you there!!
Curious though, wouldn't stress cause blood pressure to rise, not drop?

Yes, that's what I mean, that being around people and having to go to work everyday stresses me out.
