Instead of a lactose intolerance, I bet you are actually allergic to either milk or a gum or bean etc ingredient that is often found in ice cream and creamed cheese. Look at the ingredient list and see what all those products that make you have sinus infections have in common.

An allergy to milk could definitely express itself in the sinuses. Another possibility that some believe in: milk is digested into peptides (mini-proteins) that act like opiates, and that these can cause sinuses to close up (which causes infections, headaches).

im lactose intolerant since getting colitis ulcerosa a few years ago. doctor said that i have to check for all kinds of food intolerances as side effects and was quite glad it was only lactose, as that is one of the easiest to live with, with the whole phenomenon gaining more and more exposure these days.

Yes I probably am. One cup full of milk at a time is fine for me. Recently I had two and was passing wind a lot. Three would make me not vomit, but nevertheless feel sick.

I always wondered why humans drink milk that is meant for baby cows.

I wonder who the first humans were that looked at a living breathing animal, like an ox or deer, and said "Oh yummy, I want to eat its body!"

I used to be hooked on milk products, then suddenly started getting violent stomach upsets... no more info there...

Coming off the milk was horrid and for AGES I craved it, however now, 4 years on the thought of drinking the stuff makes me nauseous.
