Did you spend a very long time practising and rehearsing? It looked like you enjoyed delivering the talk and had nice animation in your voice. Did that come naturally or do you have to work at it?

Yes I think Alex really did try to put his heart into his presentation and he deserves a big round of applause. I am not sure how many people could get a website up and running that has gathered 14,000 members in two years.

But the thing with the transportation is that the Washington-Baltimore area is more mass transit friendly that other areas. To me it is simply a necessity that you need to drive. Just my opinion.

This is too big for my dial-up connection. Six hour wait time, I think.

YOU apparently have it easy. You are in a good place, obviously assertive, etc... Your IEP probably gave you a LOT of help, etc... I had NONE of that!

Anyway, WHO here speaks more of having a GOOD friend of the opposite sex? FEMALES! Check it out! It looks like almost every female(Even the YOUNGEST) on this system has/had a GOOD boyfriend, and almost every male hasn't had a GOOD girlfriend. Buy good, I mean one they can speak about such personal things.

well, maybe she realizes that movies, television and songs don't always reflect reality. I don't think it was a stupid thing for her to say. She was voicing her opinion based on experience, which happens to run contrary to popular belief, perhaps even her boyfriend's belief.

I thought you did a really good job Alex. I can't imagine holding an audiences attention for that long.

I enjoyed seeing that and it was quite interesting.

I agree with you on mimic the clothing look of cool people. It's something I really need to work on myself. If looking cooler makes one more approachable, then it's something that should be taken advantage of for meeting people.

I relate to the comment about really liking certain teachers. I've a had a couple teachers at my college who were like somehow on my same vibe and got along great with; oddly enough most of the other students didn't like these teachers. The idea of having them like a mentor sounds cool, though the teachers I liked were only temporary and aren't there anymore.

Looks you got a nice girlfriend. She was about to mention two things about aspergers/relationships and then the video cut out... what did she say?

Wow Alex; that was terrific! Thanks for sharing that. You really seem like a nice and funny guy. Your girlfriend is adorable and funny too. Congratulations, and hopefully someday we will all see an hour television documentary discussing AS with you as the presenter.

Tehe, I was thinking over the weekend what this video would cover if AS was the majority and NTs were trying to get along in an AS world.
1) If you say something, make it worthwhile. Chit chat is a bore.
2) No exaggerated moves when you walk or talk.
3) Stop looking people in the eye when you speak. It is bothersome.
4) Worry less about what you wear and more about who you are.
5) Even if you have no special talent or interest doesn’t make you a bad person.
6) Think too much. It is better than being thoughtless.

My boyfriend watched it and enjoyed it He said you are a really good speaker and he can tell you've put a lot of effort into it ^^ He also mentioned some of the things you said were things he was trying to explain to me, lol.

I thought it was great as well I still LOVE those shoes by the way-I cannot seem to find yellow shoes anywhere in my area
