A little too ironic...and, yeah, I really do think...

I second that.

Having Aspergers is like being naturally paranoid.

It's like being the director to your own movie about your own life. You have it all envisioned a certain way but most of the time no one is willing to work with you. The actors don't act right. The writers don't write right. The producers set the deadlines too early and give too little. And some days you just want to sit in your trailer and cry.

Asperger's is like being in a Woody Allen film permanently.

Y'know, Alanis, not one of those things is ironic. They're bummers, sure, but that's not the same thing.

In fact, the only irony in that whole song was the bit about the man who was afraid to fly, finally overcame it, and boarded his very first plane - only to have it crash.

I don't know. It is ironic when you have 10,000 spoons but what you really need at that moment is a knife. It's a bummer as well. But totally ironic. Think of what could've been IF you had 10,000 cups of coffee to stir. You have the wrong utensil. In spades. No - in spoons!

I think one person's irony is another person's bummer. But that's just imho.

Having Aspergers is like reading nothing but "lonely person" books and watching "lonely man" movies from the 1970s.

Aspergers to me is like being a walkie-talkie unsolvable mystery to the rest of the world.

Having Asperger's to me is like having an arrow stuck through your chest - it can be painful, people give you odd looks, and it's hard to get through doors unnoticed, but you get to see the world from a different perspective.

Having a particularly badtempered goat follow you around everywhere. Sure, you can get milk from him, but you'd rather not have him there at all.

Yes. Bullseye! But is it also not true that you will have absolutely no problems finding a place to hang your umbrella?

Having Asperger's to me is like having this creature inside me that basically scares the hell out of me.
It just won't explain it's motives and does the strangest of things. :D

... being in a deep sea tiny one person submarine and watching all the deep sea creatures and seeing their strange lights, colors, and movements ... and then trying to interpret their behavior from this
