My daughter is an NT and not at all freaky, she is very nice according to lots of people and I kind of like having her around, especially as I am unwell and she has promised to cook my supper tonight

So I think I will keep the mix of NTs and ASDs. NTs have their uses you know

And you are to aspies... well, an aspie, because you didn't get the fact that it was a sarcastic remark.

Throwing ourselves to space and isolation is not gonna solve anything. NT's would still be a**holes, but without us they won't even try to be nicer (statistically). And new aspies would be born, but they won't have support from us because we are 40 light minutes away from them.

And what do you think NT's will do with our fabulous inventions, assuming we are naive enough to let them play with dangerous stuff? Mess things up and probably blow some things up, and we are left to watch in space without being able to do anything except make sarcastic remarks.

Which is pretty much what I did.

edit: might I add, you are too intolerant, I would expect better from a fellow aspie. And I am jew. You don't have the slightest idea of how much your comment offended me, specially since members of my family were persecuted either by Stalin or by military coups in Argentina. You should be more open minded, remember that you are dealing with aspies and not NTs on this site.

I think it would matter more if she was nice according to you, versus what a lot of other people think.

I don't put much stock in "lots of people". People on a whole are not so bright...

She is nice to me too She gave me half of her chocolate Easter egg.

NT's with aspie parents should be great kids, so good they barely seem NT's =)

PS: But I wonder how they will be during their teens

Mine is late twenties and still very nice. No trouble as a teen whatsoever. No, with her it was all the pets we ended up with as she snuck them in. She has a huge room at the top of the house and one day she built a wood and net contraption, next thing, a few days later, a rabbit appeared for the new hutch and run in the bedroom!
