Also...hmmm. my Star Wara and Domo-kun hats..I feel more 'protected' with them on and less of a nagging about whether my hair is okay...not relly attached...

Well, to each his own, for sure!

It's be nice if people were more like that so people wouldn't have to discuss who they were on sites like the core onion, anontalk, etc. :P

i attach to things pretty easily and i can't throw things away....i've been that way since well my entire existence i think xD i think it has to do with familiarity....even if it was something i no longer needed or used i wanted them there because that's where they belonged and i was used to seeing them there..or just the presence of them being there if they were things i ignored...and also when i was younger i thought certain objects had emotions..(like that one IKEA commercial a long while back about the old lamp).....i felt bad to throw or separate from objects thinking it would be lonely or something..and missing it because i was used to it...like when i was at school and refused to separate from my backpack and sometimes even putting it on the floor i needed it behind me on the chair....i still feel that way about certain things...i have baby blankets and teddies i still sleep with because i can't part from them...i'm starting to think i invest a lot on objects while i invest almost nothing on people...i can't throw away half empty water bottles i'm used to having on my desk...yet i can't seem to miss people..-.-

I get very attached to a few of my possessions. I always refer to them as "Special".

The most notable is Special Pillow. Special Pillow is a soft red bean bag sac that my mother bought for me a few years ago because I was upset she had to go to work. She told me to hug it every night when I felt lonely. I've slept with it every night since she gave it to me, which was about three or four years ago. I get upset if anyone touches it, or if it gets misplaced. My quality of sleep goes way down if I do not have Special Pillow with me.

There's also Special Blanket, which my mother gave to me around Christmas time a few years ago. It is currently being used as a curtain in my room.

Then there is Special Curtain, a shower curtain which is actually my sister's, but I'm becoming attached to it because she's letting me use it. The reason I'm using it is because it is printed with pictures of happy frogs on it, and it helps me not to feel claustrophobic in the shower (which has been a problem for me since I moved into this house).

Oh yeah, I almost forgot - Favorite Sweater. I used to hate wearing sweaters in the winter, but when my mom made me buy one and I saw it, I knew it would be perfect for me. It has a heart on it with angel wings on the front, and roses going down the sleeves. It also has Tinkerbell on it, but I just ignore her. I admire the sweater for the heart and roses; I hate Tink.
