Perhaps you could keep the door shut to let steam in. How about getting a big fluffy towel and give ti to him after eh gets out of the shower. Slowly drop the temp as he showers.

I tried that myself a couple of times and I couldn't stand it. My parents would be upset because I would come out of the shower looking red from the heat.

Get one of those showerheads that you can twist and it turns to different speeds and strengths. Start him off at the weakest strength and speed you can find on it. Also start him off at a comfortable temperature, and ease it to the one you want it to be at. I'd also invest in a vent system in there to help out with the steam. Good luck.

Yes! And when you wait too long, it just gets worse. It feels like such a task to get all cold and stuff, get out and have that draftiness bug you. But when I put my mind into it and pretend to like it, it works out. (I can't think when my hair is dirty) When I was in high school, this was a problem. (I often didn't think- just kidding) In elementary school, my babysitter would put my clothes on before my body :( and hair :x were dry.

You could try to coax him with nice smelling shampoo or lotion, maybe. That's what inspires me. Like lavender... and pretending to be less-stressed as a result.

For me, the important thing is to shower at the right time of day. I couldn't possibly shower in the morning, and I don't sleep well when I shower in the evening. The ideal time of day is just before dinner. Also, I 've got a small bathroom and I've shut off the ventilation in it, so the steam from the hot shower heats up the whole room. Even so, I reach for the towel from inside the shower and dry off some of the water on my skin before stepping out of it.
