they're sometimes called "jetta". really nice looking cars but parts can be expensive.

Also worth noting...as soon as one thing falls apart in the car, so does everything else. I should know...I used to own one.

ye-es, i had a older passat when the were the cheap model in the vw range and it did need a lot of repairs. but hey one's first cars often do! all mine did!

Well I'm currently now on my 3rd car, and so far it's gone 4 months without needing any maintenance....I think it already outlasted the Jetta in that area :lol: :lol: :lol:

Perhaps you aren't cut out for driving. However, although I believe most people don't zone out while driving, they do put on their mascara, talk on the phone, make eye-contact with their passengers, change lanes on a busy freeway without signaling or even looking to see if it's clear, don't wear a seat belt, let their dog climb around on their lap.... You get the picture.

You need to be alert while driving, but after a while it usually does get a bit automatic. For most people. Not me, but I'm weird.

Well, I already know driving isn't one of my strengths...I hope one day to be able to be rich enough to have a limo and chauffeur.

However, the Jetta really IS a POS. As my boss at work even told me....with Jettas, once one thing goes in it, it creates a domino effect...just how they're made. That is to say....POORLY.
