I've only posted in one other board...it wasn't an enjoyable moment. I accidentally fed an already huge flame war with a simple one-liner post.

What?! What does this all mean? I don't understand why this would have happened. I wonder when my demise will come about out. I think it's time for another bet. Any takers? Perhaps a more apt question would be, any undertakers? Anyone able to play the funeral march on the organ?

Not that I'm a good arguer, but for myself I feel less of a person if I resort to simple, stupid name calling. It isn't satisfying. I want to make my point (or try to make it) in a well-argued, logical manner. Anything less isn't worth it.

Does anyone else feel this way, too?

Well, I don't like to argue things unless I think I can at least appear to be competant and reasonable in an argument (the only exception I can think of is when I'm pruposely being ridiculous). So yeah, kinda. That's why I stay out of the political forum, mostly.

There have been and are several trolls here. Alot of the people are to ignorant to relise, though. Trolls can turn up anywhere.

Ya recken wrong, Sweetheart!

I am sincere in my compliment of the moderators and the jobs they do.
If you weren't grovelling in your own self pity, i suspect that you would finally come to realize that they have been very patient with you also.
The difference between us, i think, is that, in general terms i try my best to be supportive. Sometimes i get pretty pissed at illogical statements and take them personal and far. That is one of my downsides. Generally, i am happy and have no problem dishing out praise when it is warranted, in my opinion. On the other hand i react the same with writings that i disagree with. Either way, i call it the way i see it.
Just like now.
The difference the way i see it is that you don't seem to want to find too many positives in people, and if you did, you like to keep it to yourself. However, all of your negativity is public, you have no secrets. Also the broken record act of, why did i get a warning, you never proved to me why, skip, skip skip.
See, i have to personally wonder if you knew what you were doing when you were speaking for me. I have a consistent record of setting the record straight. Buyer Beware. This is a broken record.

And in the end, i do not hold grudges. But that does not mean that if i had my way with you twice, that i harbor resentment. Nope, they are simply two seperate disagreements.

You'll have to explain that, I really haven't a clue what you're on about.

Well good for you, Mother Teresa! To be honest, judging by the 1200+ posts you've made since you've been here, you must have the time. (Just humour, not insults)

I haven't a damn clue what you're on about. If you get as pissed by illogical statements as you claim, please extend the courtesy of using some logic when criticising others.

Just to set the record straight — as you are obviously having a hard time digesting the few short posts I do make — I have on several occasions said that the moderators/admin generally do a good job overall. I just don't take to the garrulous sycophancy some of you seem to enjoy.

I am being civil. If I wasn't, I might take a leaf out of your book:

Context doesn't really have much to do with it.

Anyway, not wishing you to accuse me of thread de-railing, and as Kev has raised the eamonn issue, perhaps you lot could split the last part of this thread off into a new one.
