I'm told I look about 16. I'm 26. I don't mind this too much.

I look about 10 years younger than I really am (I am 40 - look like I am in late 20's early 30's). I think its genetic though, both of my parents and their many siblings look younger than what they are.

Interesting thread. I'm not sure how much younger, if at all, I look from my actual age. Anyone want to try guessing? :)

A lot of times when people meet me, they look at me with a curious expression and ask "How old are you?" Sometimes I get asked what grade I'm in. When I lived in a cul-de-sac and played with the kids there, none of them or their parents could guess my real age. I'm 19 and my mom tells me I look like a 15 year old.

I was in a meeting yesterday and one of the other parties openly complained that my company was not taking the meeting seriously by sending someone so young and inexperienced. I am in my 40s and older than many others in the room. I have been hearing it my whole life.

I am also very bad at guessing the age of other people...I have hated the few times I have been put on the spot and have been asked to guess...

I am currently 30. People usually do not believe me when I tell them so.

My favorite is when younger people tell me that, you see, old ladies will always tell you you look so young, even if you do not, but kids and teenagers are usually quicker to call you "mister" even if slightly older. Having them thinking I am that close to their age is cool.

My new avatar is from a pic I took yesterday, so that is the way I look right now. Tell me how old I look (sorry about the webcam resolution, though).

I got accused of graffiti painting a bridge the other day. I'm 30 years of age. I assume this means that I look young.

i'm forty five and people think i'm in my twenties. i was twenty four and coming home late for work and a colleague asked how come my parents allow a fifteen year old to come home this late. i've been treated like a minor well into my twenties and early thirties.

I started an "is this a record" thread a few days ago.

I'm 38 and was asked the other day to prove that I was 15 (in order to get in to see a film at the cinema).

Today, I went to the fish & chip shop on my way home to buy chips. There was quite a range of ages in the queue waiting for their food ... the staff were reviewing the orders with each other to make sure they didn't miss anyway ... one of them pointed in my direction and said "Oh, yes, and a large chips for the youngster over there..."

So erm, yes, I look young for my age, which I'm fine with - I find it amusing that strangers ID me as much younger.

What does bother me, however, is when people who *know* my real age and experience choose to "forget" and treat me like a "youngster who knows nothing". That irks the heck out of me. This happens a lot.

I can't say for certain. I can remember kids saying I looked 12, 13 when I was 10, but I'm not sure I look older now, probably not.......

I'm 24 but people swear I am either 16 or 17. I'm not complaning anytime soon. People tell me I will appriciate it when I get older. What to they mean "will"? I am already appricating it. I think mentaly I am around 17 anyway.

I get told I look younger than my age people don't believe me when I tell them I'm 47 it gets annoying so when people ask I just say old enough.

Yes I do.

My parents looked much younger than their age too; right into their 60s.

I exercise a lot too, which helps.
