I agree, aspies should stick together and help each other.

Anyways, an Aspie Brotherhood, is this anything like the Black Panthers, lol. Just messing with you. But yea, lots of Aspies DO support locally. We're called "Geeks"....

I don't like "brotherhood" because it leaves out women.

We could call it, siblinghood.

I like the idea of aspies sticking together. It's like all of us having our own gang or something. It would be a positive gang where we don't cause trouble for others. We've been through similar experiences and that's why I feel that it's a good idea.Image

I think this is a very good idea, I also don't understand why aspies don't help each other more.

I would suggest "Aspie Friendship network" :)

Please lets go ahead and found a network of aspies helping each other!

I have one idea what it could be used, and improve life of aspies:

why not put together a map, where all aspies register and put down their location, such that another aspie can find "the next nearby aspie (friend)" ;-)

best greets,

anton

PS: I think this "find your next aspie" is a perfect idea of mine :-)))... ah i always got such good ideas... i like to be an aspie :-))

Aspies can be a pain in the ass sometimes, some just prattle about whats important to them, and many have poor listening skills........

Well I think it's a good idea, disability discrimination in USA and United Kingdom appears to be drastically on the rise. Those in England need to learn about Form N1 County Court Claims and this link to the corrupted Equality & Human Rights Commission has become my Bible.....
http://www.equalityhumanrights.com/uplo ... escode.pdf It's REALLY good but due to England's institutionally discriminatory, ignorant masonic ways.... it's almost impossible to enforce without support.

Lets not worry about semantics to much but a cohesion of great minds, experience and courage will go far, we need some form of unity that helps us for sure. We need to bond even if we don't like each other as I fear our very existence is under threat. Most of us have great intellectual and logical strengths... not always a blessing when we see the true reality of certain things......

My own weakness of late is trying to find a way to fight flagrant ignorance without getting frustrated. Normally ignorance does not bother me but when it's organistions that should know better.....argh!

Yeah I've been offended by aspies many times too, we really aint much different from NT in many many ways

Sometimes I dont like my own behaviour when I see it mirrored in other aspies too.

right now I'm in a cafe sitting next to a table with 5 large Samoan men.... totally NT..... totalling as annoying but in different ways... just gossiping about others and making fun of them

Because I am not a fan of arts and crafts, sounds to much like work to me.

That and where not special or intresting enough to have some one let us be in their company. Unless you are ?

Man you do have tickets on yourself don't you ?

I have found many aspies to be quite intolerant and abusive, and poor company. They get hyperangry and maleviolent at the drop of a hat! I would rather be alone mostly.

Tickets to my own show? Whatever. Criticism of aspies is not allowed here??

Lets all slap each other on the back and diss anyone different........

Oh, I dont want to group everyone together, but I just dont like being stuck to anyone much

Especially guys that talk in your ear non stop, as I experienced in my support group. It was a kind of bullying for me to sit and endure being talked at... It drove me nuts! I used to chat too much and still can, but am much better at talking less than 1 year ago. I recently experienced a non verbal period too

How can we aspies do our work on planet earth if we just huddle together like expats in a foreign country?

I like to meet the locals too. I'm always surprised where I find autism and ADHD traits hiding in some other people
