I didnt think we had a culture to begin with.

I like that Mineral Water photo...was that taken at Yellowstone? I find it interesting that there are yellow and blue minerals there, but they won't blend chemically in a way so that our eyes pick up green. Green is a fickle color that way in the chemistry/mineral world.
Mirror, your rose is also very beautiful. You are very good in one of my favorite mediums!

I've been meaning to get a drafting desk for awhile, so I can actually start painting/drawing on a surface that comes to me instead of leaning over something...since my easle was drafted into holding the weaving loom, lol. So now I finally have a good working table again (hubby is so sweet!) and spent yesterday pm assembling that. Really...systemizers should be writing/designing instructions for this sort of thing.

I have images ready to be posted. I've never posted images to WP before...how is this done?

That mystery image was stranger than I thought. I did get a label to go with it when I asked for one, but it was so beyond me I had to look it up. This one is going to an expert...and they can tell me if I have something or if I'm off my rocker.
Apparently I make a habit of layering my patterns as some sort of game I play to amuse myself, but this was no game this time, and the timing/coordination with my other patterns is...remarkable...and a little annoying. The impositions I've been knocking off this pattern have nothing to do with the pattern itself, except that the clear end result image...with the one real imposition...is the reward for resolving them. What a wierd thing to do to myself. There is not an emoticon sufficient for this spot, lol.

Phoenix, I also have high very sensitive eyes. Have you tried turning your screen contrast/brightness down as low as it will go? I keep mine that way on everything. It makes a big difference. Then there is always the option of wearing sunglasses at the computer, lol.

The dye I made is not a new color. The dye/ink is an unremarkable bright yellow, but it's a light colored natural oxidative dye and they are usually dark...like brown or black or blue, because they are chemically "burning" the color into the fiber. I don't know how colorfast or lightfast this really is yet. It may be junk.

Great art work Mirror21 and I have a systemic process to help me improve my skill at solving Sudoko puzzles. My strong point has been words and solving crosswords so to improve my math skills and Sudoko skills I took the advice of someone skilled in math and solve the Sudoko in a systemic manner and put all the #1's first, then the #2's and so on.

I do not know how to do Sudoku. I am very disinterested in math and numbers. Not only am I terrible I simply do not comprehend them but I have grown to dislike them. I had a minor stroke in California, which left my math skills even more worse for wear. Even counting money takes me a little bit longer than it used to.

When you have a good idea, and you get it through hyper-systemizing so your education doesn't support it, that creates a lack of credibility when you want to do something more with it but need outside support. It was brought up today that somebody (ie, an academic) might think I stole an idea I got through patterning, because I don't have a rational explanation of how I came to the conclusion. The suggestion was that I create 5 or 6 fake steps of development like "professional lying" to make myself look more credible, but I am not comfortable with that idea one bit. I can't be the first person around here who's stumbled across a similar problem.
Comments would be welcome.

Well I have always thought having to explain how you came up with something is irrelevant. What does it matter if you actually solved what you needed or something? I will say though I got so tired of that , that now I usually add my explanation to whatever I am talking about if i got one, or at least detail the process I used to create something or w/e and now people think I talk too much.

I do not think most individuals know what they want to hear.

It turns out I might have a few people to proof it actually. That's good.
The more I get perspective on this, and what it took to get it finished...I'm very humbled.
Apparently this *is* my current work being shared, but offsite.
And the "delusions" post gave me grins. Yep. It's a 90% waste of time to do social patterning.
