Rude people online
And dogs are pretty cool. I've got a beautiful 20 month old dog who loves me.
Its hard to be responsible for me but I like having to meet the challenge of being responsible for him, it's kinda fulfilling.
And I am sorry to do this but as text speak is a pet peeve of mine unless it is sent via a text, it is you, not u and kind of not kinda
What numbers don't add up?
I am 38. I was with the chap I mentioned from the age of 17 to 24 (we broke up a few times but were mostly together during that time). I had his son at 22...and raised him for 10 years. We split when i was 25. I was a single parent for a while and raised a child for 8 years alone.
After I lost my son I had a breakdown. He was the last of my full blood family (I have two half brothers but i don't see them and won't, they are violent alcoholics I avoid).
What is wrong is my mums death, it would be 8 years now it seems. How time flies.
As no one has explained why its TMI, would someone like to indulge me?
My promotion was offered at age 21 and I was studying towards my degree (Archaeology) in my mid twenties (so 26 onwards). I also did A level equivalents at college prior to that (drama, media studies, Enlgish Literature). I completed 4 modules of the degree before leaving to care for my mother whose health was deteriorating.
Mum died, I lost my son and...
Then came the internet and my health issues and my life went to hell and never recovered.
Now I can't even get a date with someone who is not a lunatic.
The lunatic is on the grass
The lunatic is on the grass
Remembering games and daisy chains and laughs
Got to keep the loonies on the path
The lunatic is in the hall
The lunatics are in my hall
The paper holds their folded faces to the floor
And every day the paper boy brings more
And if the dam breaks open many years too soon
And if there is no room upon the hill
And if your head explodes with dark forbodings too
I'll see you on the dark side of the moon
The lunatic is in my head
The lunatic is in my head
You raise the blade, you make the change
You re-arrange me 'till I'm sane
You lock the door
And throw away the key
There's someone in my head but it's not me.
And if the cloud bursts, thunder in your ear
You shout and no one seems to hear
And if the band you're in starts playing different tunes
I'll see you on the dark side of the moon
The lunatic is on the grass
Remembering games and daisy chains and laughs
Got to keep the loonies on the path
The lunatic is in the hall
The lunatics are in my hall
The paper holds their folded faces to the floor
And every day the paper boy brings more

Lyrics? Poem? Author?
Hi, this is from the http://www.wrongplanet.net/postt204272.html thread, in case it's of help in terms of deciding what is TMI (I wasn't suggesting it was too much for me)
Members are advised that nothing posted on the internet ever disappears anyway. There are a number of sites (unrelated to Wrong Planet) that archive web pages and either keep them briefly in caches (e.g. Google) or other sites that hold the information permanently. Think about this before you post personal information on the internet! It may be linked back to you in the future.
The important thing when posting on any internet forum is not to use your real name anywhere or disclose anything that can be linked directly back to your real life. It is easy to find posts of members here by doing a Google search. There is no such thing as privacy on the internet. When you post something it is there for ever, lurking around on the sites posted to, or in various search engine databases or archive site databases. The only none-searchable area on WP is the Members forum.
If you use your real name it is trivially easy to find you posts on this site doing a Google search. Do you want your school friends, parents, work colleagues or employer reading your posts here?
Nowadays it is quite common for potential employers to type the name of prospective new employees into Google and to see what comes up... links to Facebook pages or other online forums etc. Do you really want a potential employer to discover that you have disclosed a drink / drug problem or mental health issues or some other "impediment" that would make them reject your job application?
Think before you post. Once you have disclosed personal information on this or on any other internet forum it is too late go back.

Ah well, for one u need to draw a line and decide on the important things in life and things like that aren't.
For another Im using a tablet with a crappy touchscreen so I'm using a method of input that's a serious pain in the arse. Anything that will cut down on the endless deleting and retyping is necessary.
No bother though :p.

I know its not important...I guess, but I get itchy moments sometimes where it bothers me and I feel a need to correct people. My apologies, usually I resist the urge to do so but on emotional days it can slide out.
I have great respect for the English language in some ways. I used to write, I had poetry published when I was a teenager (it was bad poetry, but someone seemed to like it) and my English teacher wanted me to be a journalist. She kept trying to get me to talk to a Journalist friend of hers about going into the profession. I had my heart set on being a Psychologist at the time and declined. Wish I had not now. I like writing. I considered it to be an art form. Painting with words is what I called it.
That was a long time ago now though and my grammar has slipped a bit these days, as has my spelling. I have neglected it.
The English language has some wonderful words though, my favourite at the moment being 'discombobulated'.
I am often discombobulated...it is very me, I am not surprised I like it.
Sorry about the touch screen tablet. I have the luxury of touch typing on a full keyboard.
