I always had a low tolerance to humidity & heat & I grew up in an area where both were pretty high & parents wouldn't let me lower the AC below 77F. I think my aversion could somewhat be related to hyperhidrosis which is a disorder where you sweat easily/accessibly & I do sweat easily & badly sometimes when others don't.

In 2017 I finished menopause. Age 33

Since then I have gotten cold easier

Hot sensations remain the same

About 60 Fahrenheit feels best

40 is kind of cold

80 is kind of hot

It has to get into the humid high 90s before it bothers me. And it is even easier in 100 degree dry heat.

I'm the opposite. I have serious intolerance towards cold temperatures and I barely had any work around with it. Not even 'willpower', not even 'taking it'.

'Taking it' head on literally hurts, and it's no longer than just another autistic sensitivity involved that I'd otherwise already would've overcome.

More than most people who lives in tropical climate even. Most people from where I live likes the cold better than their usual hot weather.

I don't like being cold, but I dress for it. Right now, for example, I'm wearing my Stormy Kromer hat in the house and I have a wool blanket over my legs.

Heat, especially humid heat is terrible. When it's hot and humid, my body overheats so fast. I'm drenched in sweat and I just keep getting hotter. My body is simply built for cool climates.

I hate sweating bullets. :x I hate night sweats in bed. :x I hate ROASTING in other people's houses and buildings and cars. :wall:
