I'm not a big fan of sweating buckets and being oily/greasy/smelly after exercise. this bothers me more than most other folks who are actually exercisers.

Ok in answer to What do I love that everyone else hates (maybe an exaggeration)? I love eating beets and most everyone I meet hates or loves beets.

I want to try borscht. I like trying traditional ethnic foods. I get really excited about these things. Sometimes it's awful, but mostly I enjoy the experience.

I am going to find a good recipe and try beets. I tried turnips for the first time recently when trying to substitute for potatoes in a soup. I was trying to make it low carb. It was awful in the soup but really good by itself boiled and mashed.

Beets are nice. The ones we get here are sweet. Not sugar sweet, but a soft sweet.

I find I do better with a consistent structure. Rules that do not make sense to me give me trouble.

What do I love though that everybody hates....wow...I really got that one backwards on the original reply....I listed all the things I hate that other people love......

wow...

I love winter - the hard slanting light, the fresh cold air, the rain and snow. Most people I know don't like it. ConversleyI really dislike hot sunny weather and my friends love it.

I don't exactly love winter but I definitely do not like hot weather, and I am utterly mystified as to what draws these heat-seeking hordes outside to the beach and park when it is sizzling outside, and worse yet, why they want to fry their skin in the blast furnace sunshine.
