Defiantly cars, I've been obsessed with them since I was about 4

Autism/Asperger's Syndrome, since I was eleven years old. I also become interested in all sorts of fandoms, but am unable to sustain this for very long, as I soon exhaust all information on the subject. But Autism/Asperger's Syndrome is definitely my biggest.

Literature and punk music, especially the Sex Pistols. For 20 years I've read and reread England's Dreaming by Jon Savage to the point that the edges of the pages are discolored and several sections are unglued.

My biggest interest is, and always has been in nature.

When I was little, I would spend hours watching animals. After I got my first butterfly net, I even took a bucket down to our pond and put anything I could catch in it and watch everything interact in it.

Much of my indoor fun consisted of reading informative books on whatever aspect I was most interested at the time (dinosaurs, ocean life, insects, etc.) and watching channels with shows that focused on nature. I still continue with such readings and watch similar shows today.

My artwork also reflects my interest in the natural environment, my favorite pieces being focused on recognizable living forms, even when doing conceptual pieces (I remember it actually being something I was criticized about in one of my art classes in College.

I have pursued and earned a Bachelor's Degree in Conservation Biology in the hope of making a difference in this field that means so much to me and am have recently my fear of driving so that I can more easily get a job in my greatest field of interest.

Currently, I do not have any special interests, but my strongest interest is cats.

My longest running interest is a band called Great Big Sea. It is really starting to fade, which is partly because they broke up.

My most intense special interest ever was planets, but it only lasted like a year.

Years ago computer programming consumed all of my free time. The bug bit me at age 10, and by age 15 I felt I had learned all I could possibly need, and I lost interest. I realized that I just like problem solving and but writing code I don't like all that much. The computer will remain my go-to tool for problem solving, but a tool rather than an explicit interest.

I had a hobby in audio equipment, but eventually I built a perfect setup for listening (all custom, hand-built), sometime in 2010. Having reached that point I lost interest. I still use that setup every day, but I feel no need for anything else.

Couple years ago just as my business tanked I turned my attention inward and noticed that I don't do much for fun anymore and that I don't have any kind of hobby. I figured I'm not interested in stamps, so... Why don't I study and collect vintage computers?
I researched a starting point and I decided to begin with Commodore machines since they have the most interesting architecture. I picked up a C64 and two Amigas which I'm restoring right now. All of them came with hardware problems, which in a way was fun in itself since I'm a computer engineer by education.
I also picked up a G3 iMac, probably because I'm nostalgic for school days. My next acquisition will probably be an Apple ][, though I suspect it's not as interesting as C64. I also want to build an Apple I replica (with a worn wood enclosure and all).

Currently, my special interests are:

-Wanting to work in film as a writer.

-Mysteries that have gone cold over time.

-Languages, including but not limited to Spanish and ASL.

2002-2007: it was basic human anatomy/physiology (with the strongest levels of interest being the digestive system)
2007-2009: ghosts and hauntings
2011-2013: painting
2013-current day: Greek Mythology (with the strongest level of interest being centered around the titan Prometheus)

It's hard to quantify what my biggest special interest has been, as I've gone through different cycles of interests, but I think Nazi Germany was probably the one I spent the most time on thus far.

Primarily smoking weed and introspection. I'm addicted to my own mind and trying to figure it out.

Sex is certainly a close second. Not only just doing it and looking at sexual things, but trying to understand why people like what they like and contemplating all the different preferences and views on such a basic common thing.

I go through bouts of being completely consumed with fantasy sports, but only when I'm fairly mentally stable and my concentration is ok.

Up until recently I also had a very deep fascination with popular conspiracy theories, survivalism and end-time prophecy. I've decided these were destructive for me and cut myself off.

Definitely reading for me. It was there since birth, and I refused to do anything else, so some of my milestones were late.
