Well, I generally imagine any WP member as looking at least a bit like his or her avatar (If there's a person in the picture, that is), and I always imagine the poster as having a matching voice.

Da Vinci? Or the Turtle?

If you mean the guy in this pic? Then that's Galileo Galilei, not Leonardo.

I "picture" hale_bopp as having an angry voice.

What word would best fit in there instead of picture? I thought maybe imagine but that isn't specific enough. I "hear"...? I record?? who knows? Interesting, the difference between light and sound.

*gets a little worried at everyone picturing people as their avatars* i can assure you i do not look like a spider... at least i dont think i do :P
i tend to picture people by their name, and their avatar as well as how they write, but its more a "view" then a picture coz i only recognise and not actually see what you look like in my mind.

It's a big adjustment but I'm trying to picture you as your new avatar and not your old one.

GH says I look like my avatar, except that there is much more gray in my hair.

It's kind of funny but i really don't associate posters with images. I do form images as soon as I hear a voice though. Hmmmm.

When I posted a pic of myself on here, people said I looked like this avatar.

Amusing, even though I don't remember the old avvie.

I picture you as a human version of your avvie, Spacecase. You're almost tooth-rottingly cute in my mental image of you.
