As long as I don't die of suffocation I don't care how I die.

I'd have to go with this method :D

I would love to die in a way that would deserve me a Darwin award. It's just such a cool way to go.

Option A: Living for hundreds or thousands of years could be cool, go go technology.

Option B: Living for a few hundred years and die in some great intergalactic interspecial war to save life in the universe(multiverse?).

Option C: Dying in some ill-fated misadventure, preferably something i find ironic or funny. This will probably be the way i die, nearly happens every other week. Perhaps getting lost in northern canada after deciding to check out a closed road or in a crappy homemade submarine. :?

That's exactly how I feel. I fear sudden death above almost all else. I think, if I absolutely had to choose, I'd want to have some kind of terminal illness so that I'd KNOW way ahead of time. Of course, whenever I get even slightly ill or in pain I tend to rethink that (I'm a wimp when it comes to things like that, lol).

And I'm religious (liberal Christian), so I'd want at least some kind of clergy or minister present along with my husband and family.

Hubby and I just married a few months ago after a lifetime of bad relationships with NT's who simply didn't understand or accept us, and we know that, since he's in his fifties and I'm in my forties, we likely won't have as much time together as we'd like and probably won't be celebrating our golden anniversary. But we try to enjoy every single day we have with each other, because you really never know what will happen when. It took a long time for us to find each other, and our greatest fear is one of us going suddenly or long before we should. That would really be totally unfair.

Then may you forever in your damnation hear that melody that accompanies it...wait, haha, that'd be pretty cool.

Something fast, and--if I see it coming--really odd. Anyone who's ever seen "Dead Like Me" has an idea of how I'd like to go. A very Mouse Trap-like series of events and then poof! The basket drops and I'm under it. Figuratively speaking.

However I go, I know I can't linger on. After only 5 days in the hospital following a c-section I was climbing the walls and the entire maternity ward nursing staff hated me.

I'd like to die of old age on another planet, on another planetary system, on another galaxy or even better on another universe. After experiencing that journey, I would be ready to die.

But if I could really really choose, I wouldn't die, I would ascend (to a higher plane of existence). That would be cool. 8)

I do not know if I shall die with a whimper or a bang --- as long as it is not a whine.

Good choice. Years ago, I overdosed (un-intentionally) on heroin, and survived. The experience was painless, and quite pleasureable. It makes you relax until the point where you pass-out, and your body starts to shut down. When your lungs shut down, you ultimately, die from lack of oxygen to the brain.

Like they say on TV: Don't try this at home!

Instantly, without a second to realise it.

I'm sorry, but that would suck the big hard one. Death isn't anything to be afraid of, and why live your life if you can't reflect on it in the end, if even for a moment?

Fear, of course. A lot of people have a rather intensive phobia of "the end."

I remember, when I was a kid, thinking I'd like to die jumping off something like a really high cliff, so I could feel what falling was like.
