I don't have much trouble driving as such, as long as I know my way. If not, it takes me forever because I can't think about driving safely and "where the heck am I?" at the same time. And if the route is crowded out with other motorists then things can get very difficult. If they all stuck to the rules it'd be OK, but they don't, they get competitive in their haste to get to their destinations a couple of seconds quicker.

All of that bothers me too. :D

I have the certificate (from the driving school), but still have yet to get the license...hoping snow goes away soon, and stays away.

I cant drive because my vision is too bad, I get directions confused easily due to dyslexia, I zone out & daydream a lot partly due to ADD, & my brain has problems processing things I do see visually like I could look rite at something I can see OK but not process that it's there rite away.

You know something? I'm actually really PO'ed that I can't drive right now. I have to bike EVERYWHERE, and today I can't even go into work because I'm sick and there's no medicine in the house, and I can't just drive somewhere to pick up some meds. And you know what gets me steamed the most about all of this? It's because I had to bike home from work in sleet/snow a few days ago that I'm probably sick right now (that and just biking all the time and working 30 hours last week and 22.5 hours so far this week - I'm exhausted). If I could kick my teenage self's ass right now for being such a coward and not trying hard enough to just GET OUT THERE AND DRIVE, I gladly would, because this is just ridiculous...only reason I can't drive now is because of finances, but I even HAD A CAR when I was 17, and my mom sold it because I wasn't going to drive it, so now I have to save up and buy one all over again.

Driving at night is whats difficult for me, particularly in very heavy traffic. The lights, the stop and go action, and the requirement to focus while driving cause me to reach a near meltdown condition.

I almost have to go into the house, and sit in a dark room for moments to collect myself should this happen.
Thankfully my employer is accepting of mass transit schedules, and my use of them to get to work everyday.

Else Id be a mess.
