Well said Blabby. It's for that reason that I didn't ever seriously consider the army after high school.

I've been bullied by both females and males. I think it's pretty stupid of those people to shout at you for doing nothing wrong.

thank you for your support. i know i was doing nothing wrong, but the bullies see otherwise, by my mere existence. and this in turn reminds me of presidential candidate adlai stevenson being asked by a reporter about having the deciding votes of all the thinking americans, whereupon mr. stevenson said "but i need a majority to win."

When I worked in the resteraunt there was a take out girl that the guys told never to touch me because I did not like to be touched. So of course she decided it we be funny to brush her breasts up against me to try to embarrass me. I was doing some salad prep work and she kept reaching for things on the shealf over my head and each time she rubbed her breasts against me and each time I would move away saying "watch it" which would make her laugh. SO she asked me infront of everyone if I was a "fa***t" or something? I told her no I did not like her rubbing tits against me because I could feel her nipples on my arm and I could tell one of them was thicker than the other and it was grossing me out. I said one was as big as a pencil eraser and the other was as thick as a small gum drop. Everyone in the break room just about s**t the pants with laughter. She got so pissed she punched out early and went home. The other employees and the manager thought it would be funny to call her parents (she was 19) to ask them if she was still coming in the next day because she left the resteraunt early and was pretty embarressed about what I said to her. They also told them what she said to me and what she was doing to me. Her mom did not sound to happy from what the manager told me.

When she found out the manager called her parents she threatened to sue the resteraunt for sexual harrassment but our union rep told her they were willing to counter sue for harrassing an employee with learning disabilities. 8)

There is nothing more cowardly than idiots that yell stuff from passing cars. Not one of the passangers would have the nerve to say boo to someone if they were out of the safety that a car provides because they know it protects them from slaps or witty comebacks.

Thats what our union rep said when he read what her lawyer sent us in the mail. Our resteraunt's boss's lawyer sent them a nice letter back with statements from 10 eye witnesses to sexual harrassment of me and our intent to counter sue.

i was riding my bike down the sidewalk yesterday, minding my own business, when this lady in a honda automobile drove down the opposite side of the street, and blasted her horn at me for no reason, causing my heart to jump into my throat and causing me nearly to lose control of my bike. i whipped around to see and hear her yell "haha fag!" then zoom off. i have noticed far more cases of women behaving this way to me than men, and it makes me wonder why this is so. what possible threat could i represent to such women to make them want to intimidate me pre-emtively? what did i do to this bully woman in the car to make her want to go through the trouble of making bad karma for herself?
it made me chew on the subject of social darwinism for a while, and i came to the conclusion that these bullies see themselves as darwinian gene pool policemen whose job it is to weed-out the genetically unfit, to bully them until they decide to go and die somewhere.
i would really like to hear from y'all if ya have something to add-subtract-multiply or divide, concerning my jejune thoughts on this matter. :)

This woman was obviously an idiot. I personally don't know any women who would act that way, not saying they don't exist, they are definitely out there, but the fact that you were an intelligent male riding your bicycle minding your own business and she was a female idiot driving a car down the wrong side of the street blasting her horn and calling you a fag is no different than if instead of being an idiot woman she were a vicious dog attacking your leg or a bird pooping on your head. s**t happens. It's not that deep, in my opinion. I don't think this woman is representative of all women or even the majority of women either off or on the spectrum. I doubt that idiot women out number idiot men. But maybe, in your neighborhood they do. My advice is, don't take it personal and just be glad that you are a higher breed of human being.

5 minutes later: I should have read the entire thread before writing the above. Still, it's basically what I think, except now I see you are living amongst a population of inbreds where the rate of idiocy is much higher.

A girl in my 2nd grade class used to make fun of me a bit. It didn't really bother me really, it never got physical or anything.

The women who "bullied" me were pretty much just stuck up toward me and snide. Some say that's not bullying, but I feel it is. I mean, it hurts doesn't it?

I don't think the OP was bullied, as I understand the concept. I ride my bike more often than I drive, and people will yell s*** at you all the time. They honk to scare you. They throw stuff too, at times. It's them impressing their friends, knowing they're in a vehicle and will get away.

how is the infliction of stress NOT a form of bullying? how does making another person hurt not bullying? how does scaring and intimidating another person not bullying? enquiring minds want to know.

My mother used to basically bully my ex-stepfather, & I've known other women who bully their husbands, so it definitely does happen.

Unless it's chronic, I don't personally consider it bullying. A supervisor can inflict stress on me, and even come down hard on me, and I wouldn't consider it bullying unless it became a habit. And no, I get that crap all the time on my bike, I don't consider myself bullied because of it. I definitely consider intimidation to be bullying, but a bunch of women shouting 'fa***t' at me isn't enough to scare or intimidate me. I would be more aggravated than intimidated. If they did it again in the future, and it became a ritual, and they seemed to thrive off my fear, that's different. Otherwise... it's just not personal enough, at least for me. I guess it's a difference of perception.

I'll add something. I can understand if you feel disappointed that people can be so insensitive and pointlessly cruel.
