Oh yeah, I know right.

I'm ALWAYS right.
(ok not always but seriously, most of the time).

While its subtext is offensive, its literal meaning is surprisingly accurate at times...

And so it's a pretty effective insult since it's hard to deny the subtext without also denying the literal meaning, and it would be inaccurate to deny something that is pretty close to true. ;-0

When I was younger, I felt a need to correct people when they were wrong. I wasn't trying to be a dick, I was trying to help them. As I have become older, I have realized 2 things: First ignorant people generally don't like being corrected(even when they're wrong) and more importantly, I can know they're wrong. That's enough for me.

Its not viewed as friendly, why ?

If the "wrong" doesnt effect anybody or is minor in nature I'll leave it alone. But as most do in sub context and I've established the corelation and result. I feel it is a friendly gesture to protect someone elses interests, safety, or rights.

I'll also take offense when "what they do wrong" will harm myself.

I find it offensive when "no one else" will say something about the "wrong" and let it continue.

Myself, please correct me if I do it wrong, ....please correct me ! ! I appreciate it, I've never wanted to be the one doing it wrong.

Change is difficult but necessary.

As a general rule of thumb, if nobody listens to me (no matter how much I argue and repeat myself) then I'm probley right.
