My SI was classical ballet for almost 20 years, but I was attracted by the lines and the repetitive movements and the structure and being highly musical as well.
I entered a professional ballet academie after 2 years working mostly autodidactic, but had to leave the academy after two years due to motorical issues (coordination) and because I could not talk to the teaching stuff (mutism when I had to talk to someone) and anorexia. I repeated it in two academies. Then I was alone in a studio for almost 10 years repeating repeating repeating the exercises with one professional training a day and I was allowed to join training in a Royal Ballet for 3 years (not payed).
I did some choreography, but I have difficulties with coordination so I did mostly repetitive movements that I could control.
I could never pick up choreography when it was not in the style of classical ballet, as everything has got a name in this technique and it has a very logical and systematically buildup (it is like a repetitive pattern).
I had "good lines", which means I could lift my legs high etc. but difficulties connecting movements even after 20 years.
In classical ballet you repeat the same movements each day again and the whole technique is written down in one single book.
I cannot dance "freestyle" and do not know, what to do and "freeze".
