I'm re-learning how to cry.

As a kid I cried all the time. When I finally wrestled it under control I kind of...lost the ability. So I've been trying to re-learn, and found it a wonderful experience, but difficult to do because a)you have to allow the emotion that leads to it to infiltrate every part of your waking mind, and b)it's so damn *messy* I've got a conscious mental block against it because of distaste. Every orifice on your face leaks. Bleaugh.

I don't mind dry crying, where you don't have any tears or mucus or anything, but it's less satisfying overall, and you don't feel like you've had a whole-body wash, which is the best part as far as I'm concerned.

Johnny P. Harmon, my late grandfather. he died when i was about 10 and i didn't care then but now all these emotions seemed to come down on me. i held my breath and began my test.

I am sad for you. I am rather impassive but very sensitive secretly. I cry when I see a hurt or lost animal. I love horror movies, documentaries, etc. , but I cry at Charlotte's Web.

Yes, I do, I actually use to have crying spells for no apparent reason.

sometimes, but I seldom laugh or smile even when I find something is funny. I'm not sad or depressed, just incredibly indifferent.

I stoped crying at age 7 years old ,my mother said I stoped at age 5.5 I haven't cryed scence then. I am not sure if it is normal or not.

i have VERY low pain threshold...

i have very high pain threshold for compression (being squeezed)

i also have a pretty damn low emotional pain threshold...

A lot of tears fall from my eyes when I yawn..
Thats usually about it though. Unless it has something to do with one of the other things I spoke of in the other crying thread.

Yes, I cry sometimes yet, I feel this might go back to some sad circumstances in my life however, I'm not stuck in this mode of thought on a consistent basis though. I'm glad that I can atleast show my emotions even if they don't fall into the social norms of the nt world whom really cares..

I hold it in until everything explodes and I have to (I can't pick the place either). My therapist says it's like a volcano.
