I understand that you don't like him calling it a disease, but what's wrong with his use of the phrase "warning signs"?

If your parents and others aren't warned about who you are, bad things can happen. The opposite thing can also be said; if they do pick up on these warning signs (omg I said it!), then it's the best thing that can happen from a kid with ASD, unless of course they send him to Dr. Israel's school.

Interesting! How many kids even have a CHANCE at that age? Preschool in the US doesn't even start until like 36-48 months! My school apparently didn't mention it until I was almost 72 months old(6 YEARS)!

Ticker,

Interestingly, my parents would have said they liked it. Apparently, I was really odd! Not agressive, not stupid, I knew how guns worked and had them around me, but didn't even threaten to blow anyones head off, did well in school, but didn't take drugs etc.... Of course, I never joined a gang.

I guess the ones that parents are proud of are ones they either don't know have it, or that they just don't want to put through this garbage. Besides, how many such kids would want to go through this? Of course, when a topic comes up that is all GOOD, it is different.

During the larry king garbage, the GOOD ones weer only briefly talked about. The "bad" ones were paraded. I put bad in quotes because EVEN WITH THEM an objective observation revealed few REAL problems. To bad THEY were all subjective.

Dr.Phil is a groupthink bigot who manages to piss off a lot of minority groups. Just ignore him.

At the risk of sounding like a Dixie Chick I'm going to say that I'm ashamed he's from Texas.

Dr. Phil is a disease. And he wears a fake moustache.
