That wouldn't be a consequence of posting on this kind of board, that would be a consequence of others knowing. ;)

I do a really good job at hiding what I do online.

I don't really care who knows anymore, as long as it isn't work related people (haha I don't currently work). But I did recently tell my parents that I was thinking I had asperger's and I told them I joined a AS forum to discuss my problems to help get a better perspective. They didn't ask too many questions. Probably because if I actually do have asperger's, it could raise some questions about some people in my family who wish to stay ignorant of themselves.

I just got here today, but I can't imagine why I'd advertise the fact that I'll be posting here...

There are already less people than I have fingers that know I have this condition, (not that there are any more than that I would care to tell anyway) not sure what the point would be.
