When people start suppressing various data, it takes a lot of other data that may be potentially relevant out of the picture with it

Imo the main thing is to open up a conversation. Many people will stereotype according to stuff like the Adam Lanza tragedy, as they are always looking for shortcuts in their thinking, and this includes autistic people, too. One problem is the only thing that draws attention in the news is if another such episode happens. That's why it is important to give the public access to this kind of interchange here, not that so many people will be reading it, but new insights may occur for us here both about the subject at hand and also about how to communicate better.

It's an ancient, talked-out and speculative thread from 2006 about someone who no longer exists, populated by people who no longer visit WP and get addressed anyway, which has exhumed earlier material and picked over it two times already. It is also an earlier version of other speculative conversations involving people like Adam Lanza/the Boston bombers/Hitler etc.

There seems little reason to dig up this old beaten horse yet again, to arrive at the same answer: "No-one knows".
