How about small and very crooked glasses. I broke the nose piece several months back. I have the replacement sitting in a bowl on my counter, but have yet to use it for some reason (damn you X-Box).

Also, I picture everyone here as a cat.

I always picture myself as my avatar. I prefer it over how I really look. I'm not ugly, but I can't hold my face like that all day.

I don't particularly enjoy my own visage either. I wouldn't exactly call myself ugly, I'd say there's a rugged handsomeness in there somewhere, but I find it disturbing...Almost like I haven't properly accustomed myself to thinking that that is me in the mirror/photo/etc...

:D Thanks! As long as computer painting counts - got to love Painter and Photoshop.

One thing that throws me off with avatars are those LiveJournal accounts where people have more than one and it alternates randomly. This face-blindness thing is annoying enough in real life, must we take it online too?

Thats why I went with a single commissioned icon. although I have another for places I want to remain completely unknown.
