Yea, well, perhaps. But I feel alot more sympathy for the people that is forced to spend 2 years in a small "torture-cell" beacause of some stupid crime like burglary in an empty house, than some girl that runs out on a field and is being held by the police for 5 mins then released.

Wheres your sympathy for these people?

Or perhaps you just ignore this terrible things the legal system does to people?

Ha? What makes you think I don't? :? I feel sympathy for anyone who's had a case of mis-justice come their way. Thoses policeman were idiots, its more than them just holding her for 5 minutes, maybe you don't understand a lot about autism, I really feel for the situation Age1600 was put in.

Like I said most police are useless, and I think our justice system is a joke, sounds like yours is too

Here I agree with you. Thats nice, beacause of people like you and me, prisons will be removed in the future. perhaps there will still be some kind of restrains on extremly violent criminals. But still.

Things will only get worse, cause of the goverments. The really bad people seem to get away with so much, then someone who's innocent will get completely done over. One thing that made me realy angry was when this serial rapist guy won the lottery! But I think he did have to pay loads of money to his victims in the end

We can always count on Sid for being a friend. Thank you for being you, Sid.

I second the motion; Sid, you rock.

Also:

Please avoid personal attacks. Even if you don't agree, you don't have to call someone stupid--particularly for a meltdown. .

and lastly:

having more sympathy for those who have suffered worse abuses shouldn't preclude sympathy for those who suffer something lesser, but also traumatic and unnecessary.

I also have had my share of bad contacts with cops. If pulled over, I wonder if I am going to be arrested, searched maced tasered, or beat up. It's like many in 'law' enforcement have forgotten that there is such a thing as the constitution. This is not to say all cops are bad, because I have had contacts will some really nice officers as well. I recommend a medical alert emblem on your vehicle as well as person. http://www.medids.com also allows people to construct an ID card listing medical conditions as well as allergies. I highly recommend such a medical ID card with medical alert emblems visible on ones person and vehicle. If such information is displayed clearly, it is possible that bad cops can be disciplined for not heeding available information.

That was bad of what you went through age1600. The police treated you like you were a criminal or something. You ran from them because you were scared so they thought you were a criminal and when you fought, they thought even more you were a criminal. What do criminals do when caught, they run, what do they do when they get get grabbed, they fight and try and get away so they thought that with you. That's one of the huge misunderstandings with autism. How are police supposed to know someone is autistic? Their behavior once they see it.
But them laughing at you about your behavior shows how cruel policemen can be. I don't know what they were thinking. Is that how they treat people who act different? I guess so.
Is it possible you can make a complaint about it?

EDIT: I didn't realize this thread was a month old till I looked at the dates.
Anyways, the cops out in NJ sound awful. Good thing everyone has problems with them, not just us. Don't take that the wrong way, I mean it's a good thing because it means it's not us, it's them and we aren't being discriminated because they do this behavior to everybody. I would probably get pulled over too if I drove out there. And what that cop was doing to you guys, he was stalking and that's illegal. Cops shouldn't follow after someone for no reason.
A cop got fired in Ennis, Montana when I was in high school for following a woman around in her car.
