I think if a calender was to be made, there should be information about Asperger's/autism in general instead of only pictures of our us or our interests. I think if it's more informational that more people would buy it to get to know more about Asperger's throughout the year. It could make more people aware of what's good about Asperger's, and what we need help on. For instance, you could show a picture of an aspie playing chess. Then you could say that people with Asperger's have a predominantly visual style of thinking. Then it could say which part of the brain that it affects, what the disadvantages are in life, and what the advantages are. I wouldn't provide only pictures of aspies on this site, however. I would also provide famous individuals with Asperger's (Einstein, Newton, Bill Gates, and some others) and then it could say what traits of Asperger's that they've had. Then maybe the calendar could display a picture of Rain Man and it could say how Rain Man was an autistic savant, and that only 10 percent of the entire autistic spectrum are savants (or have extreme/savant skills in memory and numbers and what not), and that he was on the low functioning side of the autistic spectrum and specify. That way people wouldn't think that all people who have autistic spectrum disorders are like Rain Man, but many are actually living normal lives around them. Maybe there can also be a calendar with words that aspies made up, like an 'aspie dictionary' calendar, or a calendar with 365 facts about autism (maybe not specifically Asperger's); one for each day of the year. If someone gets a company, like Future Horizons for instance, that sells books and stuff on autism, they could probably advertise the product and then even more people would buy it than if it was displayed on WrongPlanet alone. I think a product like that displayed in other peoples' homes could probably increase awareness on Asperger's and ASD's, which could be a good thing.
