these are a few questions relating to SAS symptoms and to see if anyone else is quite similar.

first off independency and AS, I am quite independent and a lot of AS teens are independent, lonerish and do things yourself. I am one of those I have aways done things mysef and I think I always will? however one AS teen I live with is not independent at all infact not logical at all or uses initiative. All other 5 AS people including myself and quite a lt in this forum follow logic an inititive. I follow these two and in all fairness my aquintance is te only one who does not follow that usual tendancy well predominant? by the way he is quite sheltered laughs harshly snorts a little.

Secondly colour obsessions, I have an insane obsession ad tendancy where I only wear black and green I had to cope wth having to wear blue jeans and that is te only thing I woud compensate for. I absolutely detest the colours orange and navy blue think its because it tries so hard t be black.

Is ayone out there dyslexic and dysphraxic and with meers irlen syndrome, you have to see through coloured lenses to read well or else thngs switch or for example I cannot walk in a straight line. I am also visually impaired albino all ther AS people I have met except the ones I have seen on vdeos have had short sightedness and badly visuall impaired, I am in diagnosis stage at the momet and just want to learn more and see if anyone out there is lke me, like me

About independency and AS, it depends on the individual. If x is raised to think logicaly and is generally functional than x will be more independent than y, who was not let make choices (thus impeeding logical thought) and/or being generally less functional (less ability to do things for themselves). Thus x is lightly to be independent and y is not so lightly to be independent. (Theory)

Obsessions can be common enough for us Aspies but regarding colour, I don't know the details of the general obsessions.

I have the checklist for the GP and its more assosiated with clothing or stimulia I think probably in the area of hyper sensory, because I a really hypr sensitive, the colou orange or example makes me really ill thesame with yellow and pink.
