Is it just me or are most teenagers super NT?

It seems as if I am the antithesis to most American teenagers.

Personally, I'm not too fond of children. I think many kids in general these days are poorly disciplined. Whatever you mean by "Nerotypical" is probably just part of an assortment of problems with kids these days.

Teenagers tend to be rather rude and herd minded. They search for every behavioral abnormality like a pack of wild dogs. Of course I am not speaking of all teenagers but rather preps and well-to-do suburban wiggers.

Suburban Wiggers? hmm. The urban Wigger I met IRL was...interesting. He was cool with me. ol @ him calling me "my n***a". I loled.

These suburban wiggers are something else. They wear clothes and buy pricey cars; they mimic everything on MTV but would s**t their pants in any inner city. Ironically, many of them have disdain for the poor.

I agree, but with the encroachment of the nanny state here in Canada, government tends to have a problem with interfering with parents, and if the unelected liberal dominated senate has its way, it will soon be a criminal offence in Canada to spank a misbehaving child.

I have the same issue...most of my class is infested with such in college, but I kicked most of their collective prosterior ends on the final exams.

Yes. Unfortunately these creatures inhabit many high schools and colleges across the nation. Most preps and wiggers have the depth of a sidewalk puddle. They are spoiled brats who think they are entitled to the world. Success may be the best revenge as you have implied. However, it's time to stand up to these people and say enough is enough.

I've noticed that, too.

If they do get too out of hand, I will..I have an aquaintance who also has issues with them...she's NT, but she doesnt hang out with anyone really...she usually hangs with me or is at home watching family guy and smoking pot.With her as a support, I might end up standing up for my self, but in a verbal way...Dont need to start any fights....most of my instructors are lawyers...they are pretty good though,

A couple of generations ago "teenagers" did not exist.

When young people became old enough they went to the same barn dances or balls as their elders and were pleased to be thought grown up enough to join adult society.

When I was young teenagers listened to pop music about first love, I wanna hold your hand, stand by your man etc.

Now when I watch the video clip music programs on tv I am utterly appalled. They are violent and depraved to the n'th degree.

Wiggers? We have them in Australia too.

Now I ask you. Why should young people from "the land of the sun bronzed surfers" want to dress and act like ghetto bred American negros?

Have mercy on me... I'm 50+ and live in the country...

I'm not really all that fond of kids and teenagers either, for the most part. Most people start to become likable around 25 or so. I suppose teenagers, on average may be more NT because they're young and time hasn't yet had a fair shot at taking a bat to their minds and bodies, if you include things other than ASDs in the not-NT category. Teenagers tend to be rather rude and herd minded because they are just coming into breeding age. Males especially are looking to form alliances with other males they see as fit, and pick on males they see as unfit because of breeding competition. Their friends make them physically more secure. Any behavioral abnormality places you very quickly in the unfit category. Only a small percentage of males need to be placed into the unfit category in order to resolve the asymmetry and have an even male/female dating pool match. I realize of course that this model doesn't explain why females engage in this nitpicking behavior, though.

Our best strategy is to tough it out, with the understanding that things get better because we can learn skills while other people become aware that they are not perfect as they get older. By surviving and through various other achievements, one can become recognized as fit despite imperfections. By taking care of oneself, not smoking, eating good food, and exercising regularly, one can gain an attractiveness advantage over other people who are not taking care of themselves.

I speak from the experience of hosting teen shows where we have had upwards of 200 teenagers running rampant through my venue...at the same time...most of them from well-to-do schools..
The ones I have been in contact with seem like an ocean of the same person replicated over and over and over again...with slightly different hair and clothes...
When I was that age, I was practically a completely different species
.....even this one particular kid who would show up who made my "AS-dar" go crazy..who...if he wasn't AS--or SOmething..I would eat my foot.....came in wearing teen-designer-clothes..and with some mortified-attractive girl on his arm..

When I was in high school, the kids seemed different...maybe it had to do with where I went...not sure...but there were more poor kids and more ethnic kids and a variety of different types of kids...as well as non-conformists...

Maybe these are just the fans of the bands that play and there is a whole strata of kids at the same schools who are not caught in the herd mentality.
Over the course of 6 years, i have seen several batches of these kids....and have seen some of them morph into young adults of beer-drinking age...

And yes...some of them are mean...and would passive-aggressively pick on me...I don't think they were aware that was an adult.


And...I wonder whether I was more NT as a teenager than I was as a child or an adult....it might have seemed that way

i think that young people like to follow what they think is a successful "strategy" of behavior to find love.

if they see that another person has a lot of friends and a lifestyle they admire, then they learn to act like that person.
they are mostly only acting though, and i know it seems fake.
but they are only finding out who they are, and most "grotesque" teenagers eventually become sensible adults.

i know i do not understand the fundamentals of their quest and it looks stupid to me, but i know it is a natural process for them.

so let them be. they will be ok.

i would usually not disturb people i do not agree with because i do not want to think in their area of existence, or have any communicative contact with them.

if anyone who thinks in a foreign way to me tries to encroach upon me and disagree with me and try to change me, then i reject them with my heart. that is a serious rejection. they will get mentally hurt if they persist in trying to convince me.

there are some teenagers i am aware of that i am thinking about as i wrote that post.


i stay out of young and impassioned people's affairs and my post is not really a productive addition to the thread but whatever.

i am at the nadir of my mental wellness tonight.
