My therapist has mentioned to me that
ATT in the US offers a discounted rate on land-line phone service to customers on SSDI. Does anybody know any particulars of such a policy and where one might go online to find out more? Anyone have information on similar setups with any other phone/net carrier(s)?

I'm bargain shopping.
We get this discount because of my son's health conditions. He is on SSI, although you may be able to apply if you are receiving other public supports. I think it's called Life Line and serves as a $10 discount off our monthly phone bill. Not sure whether this is a federal or state operation. Check with your telephone service provider and they might send you an application through the mail. Ours had to be signed by a physician.
