How do you feel about the sound of someone laughing? I personally can't stand hearing people laugh unless it's the sound of a large crowd laughing, like when watching stand-up comedy. I think I choose friends based on their laugh, and how nonexistent or benign it is.

Doesn't bother me unless the laugh is just completely obnoxious. My grandmother's laugh sounds like Woody the Woodpecker.. and it's loud.

Funny, I'm just the opposite! Large crowd noises, including laughter, really irritate me, even the 'canned' laughter they use for TV sitcoms.

It's like fear to me, not just discomfort because I'm super shy and don't enjoy being in large crowds, unless it's a really special circumstance.

But I don't concentrate much on individual laughter or voices. It doesn't bother me.

Yes, most of the time it does. Especially when there's someone laughing very loudly and constantly. Possibly because I hardly ever laugh myself.

If I'm laughing WITH people, that's fine. But if others are laughing and I'm just there, it grates on me quite a bit.
