I just came home from the convenience store. When I first went in the cashier was having a conversation with the person in front of me. The conversation went on for a while. The whole time I patiently waited for it to end. Then when it came my turn the cashier screwed-up my order. I repeated what I wanted and she screwed-it up again; all the while there was a long line forming behind me. I got pissed-off. I said: “ Did you not have your coffee this morning. You had a long conversation with the guy in front of me”. I finally got my order and stormed out saying: “Nice socializing”. The incident pissed-me-off because it has been people like these that I have had to defend myself against with comments like: “Why don’t you smile more”, “Why can’t you be more social”, “People think it’s strange and maybe you’re crazy when you sit there and don’t talk”. I decided that from now on I am going to shove back the same BS I have had to endure all my life and I’m not even counting all the times I got laid off because I didn’t play office politics. My advice to all of you is the next time you have to wait for someone to finish their “socializing” DON’T.

The cashier obviously wouldn't understand that you got AS. Yet however I would of acted differently in this situation, I would of got angry inside than just let it out as I wouldn't want to turn out rude.

The cashier should of wrote a note down.... She wasn't smart enough to think of that...

As for "waiting for people to finish their socialising": I totally know what you mean. I just HATE when people will see their friend in the corridor at school and decide to stop for a chat. These are very narrow, crowded corridors, and it's difficult enough for me to be in crowds (especially crowds interspersed with people who hate me, which makes it like walking through a dodgy neighbourhood during a riot). So I just shove past, and TBH I don't care if it makes them think I'm rude. They should learn some goddamn consideration and continue their conversations somewhere where they aren't inconveniencing other people. I would never stop to talk in the middle of the corridor; me and my friends can walk and talk at the same time if we have to.

Even worse is when the boys decide to have a "play-fight" right in front of me in the corridor, so I'm liable to get hit by accident because they haven't grown up since primary school.

Back to your example...yeah, the cashier was being inconsiderate. It's ok to have a quick few words with each customer, but having a massive conversation when there are people waiting in line is just rude.
