I recently had a severe bout of depression and my mom took me to the psychiatrist. somewhere along the way Bipolar was mentioned, but I gotconfused. either they were saying I have it, or sometimes Aspies show signs of it. I'm kinda embarassed o ask my mom. anyone have any idea? do aspies usully show signs of it?!

When I was diagnosed as an Aspie it was mentioned in my report by Professor Tantam that Bi-Polar Disorder is linked with Asperger Syndrome.

My mom just said and I quote "It might be good to find out what other people are doing about it." when I mentioned the linked thing. so maybe I do have it...?

Bipolar is common in AS. WebMD.com has pretty good information on bipolar if you want to read about it. I have a link for an online test that might help give you some idea if you might have it, but does not constitute a diagnosis but can be given to a doctor to help.

I'm not sure the test will help because I'm a teen, and the Psychiatrist said that with teens it's mostly depression.
