A work collegue is an Aspie, that i have no doubt about it. I waited a long time before doing it but i finally sent him some documentation about AS, anonymously. It's been 2 month now and i had no news but today he answered me. According to him, i saved his life! That have been the light at the end of the tunnel that he were no longer waiting for..... He wants to know who i am but ironically, i'm not ready to tell him, don't know why :?

Anyway, just to tell all of you, it's dangerous but rewarding. I won't do that to anyone who i am not 100% sure, but i will definatly do it again if i spot another fellow Aspie 8)

He may be ready to meet a fellow Aspie. I know when I was diagnosed, I really wanted to meet others like me.
Good on you for your actions, that took courage.

Once I "accused" a co-worker of being autistic/aspie. (By that I mean I asked him.) But appearantly it's a huge insult to be "accused" of being a "ret*d."

So, I keep my mouth shut now.

i found out a coworker is an aspie, quite by accident...i was talking about how our son had given each of us a "superhero name"~and shared with her what all of our superhero names were...i was "hand-gesture lady...able to stop evil with my many gestures", my daughter was " the talkinator....able to fend off evil by her non-stop talking", and of course hubby was "Aspie-man able to fend off evil by his super-perseveration powers"
her reply was " i knew there was a reason i liked you so much..." she's told me that i'm the only one at work who knows, and the only one she feels comfortable sharing this with...

He will probably know you're different anyway, and probably pleased to find someone who finds the world as confusing as he does. what can you loose? you could gain a friend.

It's weird how so many people could be potential Aspies. Actually, I think I've only met one who could potentially be an Aspie. But it is weird when you see another with the traits.

If he said that I really don't think that he would be upset at you.
