I really want my sister to cut out her problem with acting superior to me. She gives me alot of flack for not being "The pretty sister" and for me not being normal. She gets all this attention for being social, and bubbly, and over all fake. She'll make people think she is cute and then turn manipulative on them and start talking about them, or blowing them off.
Me and my sister are close to this elderly woman at our church. I go to church every Sunday, and walk this woman up the stairs. I go to my confirmation classes, and act polite around her. My sister rarely comes to church, dropped out of confirmation, and never pays her back the money she owes. Yet, the Woman likes my sister better. She goes on about how much "happiness" my sister brings to her life and what not, while she gives me a lecture on my poor eye contact, even though I have cared for her more then my sister, But I guess I am not cute or friendly enough for her. I really really try my best to work on this, but it is so hard. I feel really cheated, and disliked. I always feel disliked.

I am also really mad at my sister because of the way she handles Aspergers. At school, she'll tell her friends and people around, right in front of me "My sister can't love people. She has Aspergers". She also tries to hug me in public and shouts "Aspergers", not because she wants affection, but simply to display in front of her friends how much I hate contact, which sometimes sends me into a panic. In other words, she does this for the sake of being cruel.
I've also found a video lingering on my computer of her asking where I got a gift card and I told her "My friend" and she replies "What friends, you have Aspergers, you do have friends" - displaying her lacking of understanding.
I am very very mad at her right now. Sorry. I just need to vent.
She'll make this disgusted face and say "Oh you have Aspergers" like its repulsive.

That's terrible! I honestly don't know what to do. I can assume by the confirmation thing that you're around 12 or 13. So this won't go away fast. It's not going to do any good confronting her either, by the sounds of it. Talk to your parents, maybe even use the text you typed here if you don't want to explain it in words. That's the best advice I can give.

Perhaps you can take solace in knowing that your shallow sister will never amount to anything at all.

I'm so sorry to hear that, and the fact that you get so little appreciation from someone you're helping.

What Moony said. Talk to your parents, and use the text you typed here or write something down, it makes it easier than dredging it up verbally all over again.

Take care. Try not to let her get you down.

Wow, and I thought with age came wisdom. I'd be inclined to just forget about her in that case, seeing as your sister is so much better

Your sister sounds like a right piece of work. How long do you have to stick her until college?

Unless she's being confirmed late, she's 12-13. That's typical anyway.

(We accept people of all ages here.)

Your sister's being outright abusive. Maybe she's not beating you up; but when it comes to females, it tends to be more subtle anyway. Can you go to someone you trust and talk to them about this? Your sister should know better than to deliberately cause you to overload, and she should definitely know better than to publicly claim you are incapable of love. What she's doing is totally unacceptable, and it goes way beyond typical sibling rivalry.

Sorry, but she's the repulsive one. Seriously repulsive.

My sister was that same way, when her and I were growing up. She couldn't understand why I didn't want to listen to Top 40 radio, or tease my bangs up. She also couldn't understand why I'd listen to The Beatles all the time. She hated that I wore bell-bottoms at a time, when it wasn't "cool" to wear them. She also treated me like crap, until she moved out, bossing me around and dictating every little thing that I did, after my family watched the movie, Rain Man together, one night, in the autumn of 1989. So to my sister, I was Rain Man. I feel so privileged...NOT!

Wow I can't believe your sister treats you like that throwing Asperger's in your face. SHEESH! My older sister while on vacation with her friend and me mention Oh we think Brandy has Asperger's we call it Brandy syndrome. Ya IMO kind of cute but that really wasn't something I was willing to divulge. Sure it was a family friend of sorts we've known FOREVER but still I was shocked my sister brought it up to her friend I was like uh oh ya and then went on with the conversation but was still shocked. :-)

Ah, that fits better with your writing. Anyway, I'll stick with my old advice, but at least you can leave for college in a year.

No offence, but your sister sounds like a moron. I think you should discuss it with her and explain to her that she has no idea what she's talking about, how she's hurting your feelings, how she is distressing you (as she seems to assault you mentally and physically) and how she isn't better than you.

If she doesn't have the capacity to understand this, then perhaps mention this to your parents/guardians. If THEY don't have the capacity to understand your plight, then you are really strong (if you can stand living with people like that).

Your sister reminds me of Mrs. Lift from Throw Momma From the Train :x

Don't get any crazy ideas now 8O

Sadly, I think this sort of behaviour is accepted. At least, seeing how the elderly woman in church liked her sister better. Although I simply cannot comprehend this, how this is accepted, you should (as MindBlind has said before me) mention this to your parents/guardians.

How sad that parents would allow such horror in their own families. It'll come back to bite them, for sure, when she turns her horrible self that they're condoning now onto them. I've seen that happen.

Indeed... being fake is a terrible thing.
