things that suck about it

1. I'm technically not even suposed to be ther(14 years old not 16 yet)
2. I'm being bugged continually ask to go out with and annoyed by this guy
3. someone I though was a friend who went to a different school deleted me from thre friends list
4. the guy who was my lab partner in science and I thought we were cool deleted me yesterday
5. My friend is set to priivate so i can't view his profile or ask to be his friend on there
6 maybe I should just delete my account

I often call myspace "whyspace"

I really dont get it. It's stupid. All you're doing is making it possible for people to stalk you. I know so many ppl who hang out on myspace all day, its rediculous.

I've never cared for that site, and I'd recommend deleting the account as that creep who is stalking you is a likely pedophile, which is why he isn't leaving you alone. For your safety, just delete the account now.

We can not say definately that he is a pedophile due to the fact that we have not seen what he has said to ShadesOfMe.

We can say however, since ShadesOfMe is a female high school student that she is at high risk from pedophiles, and most at risk while on the internet. Therefore this individual must be treat as a suspect pedophile and avoided.

If you whanted to keep your account then i believe that you can block people from interacting with you on myspace, you might want to look at the help section on how to do this.
I personaly would get rid of the account though, given what you said in your first post it is not doing you much good.

The guy in question does go to my school. I'm pretty sure he's no pedophile, just a pervert(trust me, he is a pervert) I'm just done with it all. *sigh*

Anyone that has an acount is asking for that sort of treatment. I try not to get attached to people on it, because often people are alot ruder on the internet than they are in real life.

People on the internet often seem to forget that they are interacting with real people, only via a different medium. For some reason they think that the behavior that they would never show in public is ok on the internet.

MySpace is a marvel of websuckage. It has the most hideous design, both in terms of appearance and code, and the fact that 70% of users' pages have multiple movies or songs embedded ticks me off to no end. >.<

I have a profile there though.

I've never understood the point of myspace, or why it is so popular. What is so great about a site where you do nothing but add people as friends? Can someone explain to me the draw of it?

I use MySpace as a way to talk to people more. I have very few peoples' contact information, but I can send them messages/comments on MySpace, which makes it easier to cope with my lack of real-life social life. People who won't call me will still talk to me online. But no, I'm not one of those people who'll add anyone--only people I know. Everyone gets requests and stuff from people they don't know or don't consider friends--I just ignore those people.

However, I do think MySpace is evil. It's run by Fox. I think it's a corporate scheme to learn everything about everyone--who needs Big Brother when people divulge information about themselves willingly?
