Does anyone else have problems coping with the texture and feel of suncream on their skin? And if so, how do you deal with it. I am very fair skinned and burn in an instant but suncream freaks me out.

It doesn't freak me out but I don't like it. It's too greasy and I hate feeling like my skin can't breathe.

I put that stuff on, anyways, because I don't want to get skin cancer.

I have more of a problem with the smell then I do the feel of it on my skin.

It stinks and doesn't want to absorb. So dust and sand stick to it and later I have big acne. I tried Nivea's spray "light and not oily"

and it's sticky too. My skin is oily and I swear a lot. If I had more dry skin, maybe it would be a good choice. But it's still better than heavy creams. I hate heavy creams! :twisted:

I'd rather burn than use sun screen most of the time. When I do have to use it I go for Bullfrog. It rubs in and disappears. No oil or smell.

I just started using this:

It's a stick, and feels a little weird rubbing on at first, but there's no oily feeling.

Ugh... no. I can't handle even stick deodorant. Gel or otherwise. I have to use spray deodorant. *shudder*

It's kind of stinky, but I burn very easily :oops: I'm a redhead and thus am sort of transparent. Not in a plaster-white sort of way, but where I'm all pinky-blue-ish and weird looking. Like a baby rat. I don't go outside much anyway.. :lol:

I don't get people who go directly in the sun anyway. I always sit in the shade. I burn in 15 minutes without sunscreener, in 30 minutes with it.
The stuff is just a scam.

I can't stand the feeling of a cold, oily cream being rubbed into my skin, but I have no problem whatsoever with oily particles in an aerosol settling on my skin. This stuff is where its at:

I really don't like it but I don't go out in the sun more than I have to (very very rarely) so it's not usually an issue. When I do, though, I tend to use the most powerful stuff out there dispute my distain for it.

It's the smell that gets me, to be honest. The texture is a big part of it, but the scent bothers me as most scented hygiene products do.
