I like some predictability, but i don't have much day-to-day routine at all. There are certain things like, on Mondays at work if i'm working that day i get a little upset if i can't set the new DVD spots(if someone's already done it or whatever...).. because i come in expecting that that's what i'll be doing. But i don't have any routines as far as when to get up, when to go to bed, or anything like that. On days that i don't work, i just get up whenever i wake up(often its afternoon sometime), and then i'll eat something, go on the computer, play video games, and watch tv throughout the rest of the day, in no particular order... Then when i get sleepy(often sometime in the morning) i fall asleep(usually in my chair or on the couch) with the tv on. I've got the obsessions, stims, and even fixations on parts of objects to some degree, but the routine thing i haven't had much of since i was a kid... At least as it applies to any order in doing things throughout the day.
What i'm wondering is that if Inattentive ADHD could have something to do with this, and if other Aspies with ADHD have a similar lack of day-to-day routine? I would work better with a routine i'm sure, but i can't get myself into one. The only routines i have are maybe doing a certain thing a similar way every time, and i do have issues when i'm expecting something and other people decide to do things differently. But i really have no big order overall to the things i do throughout the day or week.
I've been diagnosed with ADD (now merged with ADHD) and I have some set routines but it's not rigid. Most of the routines I have for my daily life actually developed after I had children.
What I mean by routines is doing things in a set order. It isn't always at the same time every day (unless you're talking about bed time, wake up time, and meal times)

Still looking for that blue jean baby queen, prettiest girl I've ever seen.
I do think ADHD interferes somewhat, many Aspies here seem to lack routine and be disorganized while having obsessive interests at the same time, that seems like ADHD interfering.
I think my ADHD has gotten somewhat better with age, I'm less of a spazz attack now but I'm still a little disorganized. I think a huge majority of the Aspies here have ADHD.
